Sound Atlas is a personal music discovery app. You rate songs you know, and it builds playlists from your own taste rather than from what is popular this week. Playlists can be sent straight to your YouTube Music or Spotify account, so you listen wherever you already listen.
What it does
Learns from your ratings, not your clicks
You tell Sound Atlas what you think of a song. It uses those ratings, and the artists, genres and descriptors behind them, to work out what to suggest next. Every recommendation can be traced back to something you actually rated.
Playlists built around a question
Choose a year, a genre, an artist, an all-time list, or a discovery mix of songs you have never rated. Sound Atlas selects and orders the songs, balancing your favourites against things you have not heard yet.
Real regional depth
Alongside global music, Sound Atlas maintains dedicated Persian, Turkish and Arabic catalogues, including release dates and metadata that mainstream services handle poorly.
Your streaming account, your playlists
Link YouTube Music or Spotify once, and Sound Atlas can create a playlist in your own account or refresh one it made earlier. It never plays, follows, or changes anything you did not ask it to, and you can disconnect at any time.
How linking works
When you link a streaming account, you are taken to that service's own sign-in page. Sound Atlas never sees your password. You grant permission to manage playlists, and that permission is all Sound Atlas asks for. You can withdraw it at any time from your Google or Spotify account settings, or by disconnecting inside the app.
Your data
Your ratings, taste profile and playlists are private to your account. They are not shared with other users, sold, or used to train advertising models. The privacy policy explains exactly what is stored, why, and how to delete it.
